Join Jeremy Kauffman on 9/11 to Stand Up for Our Troops!
21 years later we remember the tragedy of 9/11, and stand together to demand an end to America's forever wars, and show our support for Defend The Guard legislation!
A Generation at War
At 8:46 am on the morning of September 11th, 2001, the entire world seemingly came to a stop as American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City after leaving Boston en route to Los Angeles. Over the next 3 hours, as more planes crashed and the World Trade Center’s towers collapsed, when it became apparent that the attacks were deliberate and coordinated, the world changed for the worse, while millions of people watched on live television. When the dust cleared, three-thousand people were dead, and the United States was at War.
the 20-year long conflict in Afghanistan became the longest military engagement in the History of The United States, costing $2.13 trillion, and the lives of 2,420 members of the US Armed Forces. And in the end, as American troops withdrew from the quagmire, leaving equipment and weapons behind, The Taliban remains in command of the country, while American civil liberties suffered at the hands of a warring state.
The failure of nation building, left the United States with 20,000 wounded veterans to care for, long term economic consequences from reckless military spending, and the largest erosion of civil liberties in history, all in the name of national security. And while this war has ended, politicians and the military industrial complex are already clamoring for another.
Defend The Guard
Defend The Guard legislation is the first step toward curbing the imperial appetite for war, that has robbed Americans of both wealth and life for generations. BringOurTroopsHome.US has launched a national initiative to support “Defend The Guard” legislation in states across the country. Helping legislators with model legislation, expert testimony, publicity, and lobbying, they’ve picked the fight of the century, as the political establishment and the pentagon have mobilized to oppose them.
The goal of "Defend the Guard," a project of BringOurTroopsHome.US, is to have states reassert their Tenth Amendment rights under the U.S. Constitution and provide a necessary check on the federal government's use of military force as a tool of U.S. foreign policy.
State legislators have an essential, civic obligation to their voters to demand that the federal government adhere to congressional wars powers as mandated by Article I, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution. Without an official declaration of war by the U.S. Congress, states have a duty to withhold their troops from active combat.
The sole objective of "Defend the Guard" is to obligate the federal government to obey the U.S. Constitution before sending our sons and daughters to fight more endless wars.DefendTheGuard.us, Mission Statement

9/11 Rally at the NH Statehouse in Concord
21 years after the September 11th attacks, and the first year since without US troops actively engaged in combat in Afghanistan, New Hampshire Libertarians and other supporters will gather on the steps of the New Hampshire Statehouse in remembrance of those lost, and in support of legislation to protect the brave men and women serving in our National Guard from being used as cannon fodder in imperial wars for profit.
Join us this Sunday, at 11 am, and hear from speakers, including candidates and veterans, in support of this important piece of legislation.
We need to get these messages in front of as many granite state voters as possible. And legacy media advertising isn’t cheap. But we can strive to have an impact with your help!
Every donation helps get us closer to our goals and gets the message of liberty in front of more Granite State voters. With your help, we can make a difference and make liberty win today!
Yours in Liberty,
